Tuition
Unprecedented Value
A Waldorf education is known for its rich, hands-on learning, small class sizes, and deep attention to child development. Across the United States, annual tuition for Waldorf schools commonly ranges from $15,000–$30,000 per year. Our annual tuition of $6,000-$7,200 reflects something truly special: a school community that works together to make this education accessible without compromising its quality or integrity. With the Idaho tax credit of up to $5,000/child, tuition is even more affordable!
At our school, families are active partners in building the learning environment. Through volunteering, supporting school events, and contributing time and skills, parents help sustain the programs that make our school unique; from farm-to-table learning to handwork, the arts, and outdoor education.
This shared commitment allows us to offer a rich Waldorf-guided education that would otherwise be out of reach for many families. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together with purpose, it can create something extraordinary for its children.
2026-2027 Annual Tuition
We strive to be thoughtful stewards of our community’s resources, prioritizing what most directly benefits children’s learning and well-being. Our goal is to keep costs as accessible as possible while maintaining the quality, depth, and integrity of the education we provide.

Additional Fees
In addition to tuition, there are a small number of additional fees associated with enrollment. These fees directly support classroom materials, specialty subjects, and the resources necessary to offer a rich, hands-on education. We approach all school expenses with care and intention, mindful that each dollar represents time and effort your family has invested.
-
Upon submitting the enrollment packet, families will also pay the supply fee.
This fee allows us to purchase the necessary classroom materials such as: art supplies, chalk, main lesson book materials, workbooks, etc.
Families will also receive a supply list with personal items to purchase such as outdoor gear.
-
This fee can be paid anytime on or before August 1 and is used to fund field trips, class activities, large projects, and regional events.
These experiences are an important extension of our curriculum and provide meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

Our Friday BRANCH program is a fantastic opportunity to pursue hobbies and personal interests. There are a variety of offerings available to currently enrolled RMS families and local homeschool families alike.
The investment will vary depending on the offering you choose. We encourage families to plan for approximately $300 per child per year to support participation in these optional, but recommended trips and activities.
Offerings are listed in tiers:
RMS Enrolled Families: Tiers 1 and 2 are free. Tier 3 & 4 prices vary
Homeschool Families: Tier 1 is free and prices vary for Tiers 2-4.
