Finding Home, Building Community

“It takes a village to raise a child. “ —African Proverb

The Idaho Falls area is a place people choose—both those who grow up here and those who come seeking a meaningful place to raise their children.  As the African proverb says, "it takes a village to raise a child," and Rooted Meadows wants to be an integral part of this village.

Life in Southeast Idaho moves at a pace that leaves room for connection. Children are encouraged to grow through learning, creativity, movement, and time outdoors, and families are supported in many forms. Family life, however one's family may be composed, is valued in the community.

Nestled in the Snake River Valley are endless opportunities to enjoy nature and appreciate the beautiful nearby surroundings such as Yellowstone National Park, the Tetons, rivers, lakes, forests, and more. This area is also a growing, thriving, and innovative area creating a wonderful environment to bring our vision to life.

We hold deep respect for the many educators and schools already serving this region with vision, dedication, and care. We are honored to join this vibrant educational community by offering Waldorf-guided education as an additional approach for families to explore, so each child can be met in the way that best supports their unique growth and learning.

At Rooted Meadows, we strive to offer an educational experience that honors childhood, fosters a deep connection with nature, nurtures each child in a personal learning environment, and supports growth of the whole child: body, mind, and spirit.

We are grateful for the opportunity to join this remarkable community in supporting the children of Eastern Idaho.
